Pulkit Chopra
Founder & CEO
Pulkit is himself a Person of Determination artist, and understands that for adult PoDs, financial independence and dignified sustained work opportunities are the best way to achieve real inclusion. He has utilised the lessons from his own experience to develop this startup from idea to a reality.
He graduated with 89% in Grade 12, and has also received the prestigious Parvasi Bhartiya Award winner. His role as the Vice President of the Best Buddies International chapter at school and 8+ years of hands-on experience in selling handmade uncycled products for charities such as Dubai Cares, have provided him practical experience in sales and marketing, leadership, product development and community engagement.
He combines his artistic skills with practical experience, while working on all aspects of the startup. He is currently pursuing an MA (Hons) in Marketing. While not working or studying he attends Mawaheb Toastmasters club for PoDs to work on his speech difficulties.
Sonali Chopra
Co-founder
Sonali graduated cum laude with a Double Major in Economics & International Studies from the American University of Sharjah, before which she was awarded the prestigious HH. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Award for Excellence. With 8+ years’ experience of working in the philanthropy sector she has developed expertise in grant management, monitoring and evaluation, organisation strategy and digital transformation. She regularly participates in community events that focus on People of Determination.
